Papdi chaat, dahi puri, pani puri, bhel puri, aloo tikki chaat, bhalla papdi chaat and dahi bhalley — a proper Indian street food chaat section rather than one or two token starters. Each one mixes crisp fried elements with yoghurt, chutneys and spice in a different way.
Chicken tikka, paneer tikka, seekh kebab and soya chaap all come two ways: a smaller kathi roll for a quick single order, or a larger wrap for a fuller meal. Same grill, same fillings, different portion.
Four biryanis, cooked in the Hyderabadi dum method — sealed and slow-cooked so the rice takes on the flavour rather than being stirred through it. Sabz e Khas is a fully vegan biryani built the same way, alongside chicken, paneer and lamb bhuna versions.
Vada pao is a spiced potato dumpling in a soft roll with chutney and chilli — Bombay's answer to a burger. Dabeli does the same with a sweeter tamarind filling and peanuts. Pao bhaji is mashed vegetable curry with soft rolls on the side. All three are Mumbai street stalls rather than restaurant dishes.
We cook in our own St Albans kitchen and deliver across AL3 to London Colney, Park Street, Chiswell Green and Colney Heath — every evening, plus lunch Tuesday to Saturday. Halal options are available — ask when you order.

Chaat is Indian street food built around crisp fried elements — puffed rice, wheat discs or fried dough — mixed with yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutneys and spices. Papdi chaat, dahi puri and pani puri are all chaat, each with a different base.
Both use the same grilled fillings — chicken tikka, paneer tikka, seekh kebab or soya chaap. The kathi roll is the smaller, lighter version; the wrap is larger with more filling for a fuller meal.
Dum biryani is cooked sealed rather than stirred — the rice and meat or vegetables are layered in a pot, sealed, and left to steam slowly, so the rice takes on the flavour instead of being mixed through it. It is the Hyderabadi method.
Yes. Sabz e Khas is a fully vegan biryani, and the soya chaap tikka is a plant-based option available as a starter, kathi roll or wrap.
