Chicken or lamb momo — a spiced filling wrapped in Indian bread, £7 either way. It's not the classic steamed Nepalese dumpling you'll find at some of our other kitchens; this is the Hoddesdon kitchen's own version, and it's on the menu alongside the usual starters rather than instead of them.

Eight dishes — garlic chicken bhuna, garlic chicken chilli, garlic chicken massala, garlic chicken jalfrezi, and lamb versions of each — built on a garlic base rather than the standard onion-and-tomato gravy. Sharper and more pungent than the usual curry.
